What is QuickLookUp ?
However what started as a small project gradually grew into a major undertaking as more and more functionality was added. The release version of QuickLookUp is designed to allow access to Mode 'S', Registration, and Construction Number data for Enquiry and Quick Logging without actually opening the main database. On a busy PC this usually involves using less system resources, and therefore has a much smaller impact on other programs running at the same time.
It has now evolved in to a display that 'plugs' in to Kinetic's SBS-1 Mode S Decoder and places a small display on the basestation software. This list is sorted by Mode S code and shows the registration and optionally the flight code. By default entries coloured red are frames you need, blue for paintscrapes and black for dropped, but obviously, these can be changed to suit your own needs.
Requirements:
To use QuickLookUp you need:
- a PC capable of running Aerodata Quantum
- Aerodata Quantum installed on your PC.
- a current subscription to Aerodata Quantum.
